Poblet, early music’s summer home

Poblet’s Santa María monastery will once again be­come the cen­tre of baroque music this sum­mer. For an­other year, Poblet will stage the pres­ti­gious fes­ti­val de­voted to early music, with a pro­gramme of five con­certs over three days. The Capella Reial de Catalunya and Hes­pe­rion XXI, with mas­ter viol player Jordi Savall con­duct­ing, will be one of the fes­ti­val’s biggest draws.
