Vinyasons
The lure of great music, wine and food
The seventh edition of the Vinyasons music festival has a programme of 14 concerts in an event that brings together three mainstays of Catalan culture: live music, wine and cuisine.
Taking place in the winegrowing regions of Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Alt Camp and Empordà, the concerts are held in some of Catalonia’s most emblematic wineries and vineyards from June 28 to August 9.
The towns participating in the event are Mediona, Subirats, El Pla del Penedès, El Vendrell, Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, Olèrdola, Barberà de la Conca, Cistella, Nulles, Barcelona, Pals and Mollet de Peralada.
Vinyasons has a diverse programme of musical styles, including jazz, classical and folk music. The aim of the event is to attract visitors to the participating wineries by offering an eclectic array of musical acts in combination with great food and wine.
This year’s edition boasts Sara Terraza, Les Fourchettes, Guillem Roma, Fèlix Rossy Quintet, Marina Tuset, Sara Pi and In Crescendo, in a programme designed to refresh anybody’s summer Friday and Saturday nights. The festival kicked off on June 28 with indie artist Pavvla in the Caves Olivé Batllori winery and will come to a close on August 9 with a concert by a capella quartet Les Fourchettes in the Cellers Avgvstvs Forvm winery.
