The Corrs get things going
The Corrs, John Fogerty, Raphael, Guillem Gisbert, Estopa, Passenger, Andrés Calamaro, Chris Isaak, Pau López, Rozalén, Sergio Dalma, The Tyets and Sara Baras are some of the big name artists who will be performing at this summer’s Cap Roig music festival, which will be held from July 12 to August 16 in the Cap Roig Gardens in Calella de Palafrugell.
The famous Irish band The Corrs will open the Costa Brava music festival, which is organised by the Clipper’s Group with the support of CaixaBank, while Catalan band Gossos will bring the event to a close. Meanwhile, The Tyets will take to the stage for this year’s solidarity concert on July 28, the proceeds from which will go to the El Trampolí foundation, which helps people with physical disabilities.
Completing the line-up of 23 performances will be Canadian jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall, veteran Catalan band Sopa de Cabra, Madrid rockers Los Secretos, Spanish-German singer Álvaro Soler, Taburete, Miki Núñez, Carles Sans, Los Ronaldos frontman Coque Malla and Gossos, while El Pot Petit with La Black Music Big Band will star in this edition’s Cap Roig Mini, the festival’s event for children.
For another year, the Village space will be managed by Cal Blay Food Lovers, along with the brothers Sergio and Javier Torres from the Cocina Hermanos Torres restaurant in Barcelona, which will offer visitors a menu especially created for the festival.
