Wine cellar. ANNA VICENS
Wine route through Costers del Segre
In the morning:
Vinya l’Hereu wines are made in the village of Seró, in the municipality of Artesa de Segre, in the Catalan region of La Noguera.
It is a family winery with a great wine making tradition, and is dedicated to making organic wines from grapes from their own property.
Their philosophy is to make wines that are a reflection of their vineyards, the clay soils and the continental climate. The location, at the foot of the Pre-Pyrenees, provides freshness to the wines, as well as a good natural balance and the character of the area.
They make two red wines in a way that respects the vineyard and the natural environment, combining the characteristic lands of Seró with the most modern techniques:
PETIT GREALÓ:
A young wine that expresses the soil and climate of the area, preserving the fruit and the texture of the original grapes, with smoky mineral nuances, elegant tannins and balsamic notes.
FLOR DE GREALÓ:
Made with a selection of the best grapes from different plots, this wine is fresh with aromas of red and black fruits and with smoky and balsamic touches. It is matured in French oak barrels.
Currently, Vinya l’Hereu has planted 14 hectares of red grapes of the Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties, cultivated them according to the organic farming method.
Organised visits for individuals and groups.

For lunch:
The Brasa d’Or restaurant is a project born in 2002 in Lleida when Oscar Ruiz, the then owner of the well-known Iris bar in the Pardinyes district, decided to give a boost to his food career by opening a bigger restaurant.
La Brasa d’Or is located near the Magraners district of Lleida, right at the entrance to the city from the Tarragona direction, in a peripheral area of Lleida that has a lot of business activity.
Twenty years after its opening, the restaurant has earned the reputation of being one of the city’s best, not only because of its daily menu , with such popular dishes as Thursday’s paella or its ’knife and fork’ breakfasts, but also for its a la carte business lunches, family celebrations, and group and business get togethers. The range of products has gradually evolved, adapting to the needs and tastes of customers but always prioritising the quality and products of the local land, which make up the bulk of their offer.
