Bouteflika’s partner is urging him to resign too
The Democratic National Assembly (RND), the second most important party in Algeria and the main ally of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s party the National Liberal Front (FLN), yesterday demanded the resignation of the president to solve the two month-long political crisis. In a press release, the RND, led by former Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia, also suggested Bouteflika name a new government.
