Victory for Sunday’s election is attributed to both the pro-Thaksin party Puea Thai and the pro-military party Phalang Pracharat. The partial results gave a slight advantage to Pracharat, but hours later the electoral commission informed that the Puea Thai party was in the lead. The release of the definitive results was postponed and were still unknown at the time of closing this edition.
