Huge crowd figure discrepancies from Saturday
Ever since over a million people supposedly attended the September 11, 1977 march in Barcelona, crowd numbers have been controversial. The collective “Contrastant” however, has an easy formula for working out attendance from imagery - based on available space in street cross-sections, and a density of people per square meter. So, it appears at least 30,000 Catalans demonstrated in Madrid.
