Students rally against climate change

The climate change movement led by 16-year-old Swedish activist Greta Thunberg is picking up momentum around the world, and in Catalonia. Yesterday, protests took place around the country. In Barcelona, a demonstration called by the Fridays for Future platform drew some 2,000 students at noon for a rally that went from plaça Universitat to plaça de Sant Jaume, featuring slogans like “There is no planet B” or “Let’s change the system, not the climate”. In Girona, over 200 students protested.
