Baby’s body found in waste container
An employee of the Montcada i Reixac waste collection service discovered the lifeless body of a baby in a container yesterday morning. The finding occurred when the worker was loading the organic waste container onto the truck. The Catalan police have opened an investigation, although no one has yet been detained as they look to find the parents of the baby. The body is believed to have been abandoned in the hours shortly before the body was found, since the containers are emptied every 24 hours.
