Eurecat robot to assist old people who live alone
The Eurecat centre is part of a project to develop a robot that uses AI and automatic learning to aid old people living alone. The robot, based on the Giraff platform, weighs 15 kg and has a modular design with an adjustable video screen, a small computer and wheels so that it can move around. The device uses sensors to analyse the user’s condition and can alert third parties, such as relatives or medical services.
