Barcelona area to get 300km of riverside paths
Some 60 municipalities in the Barcelona area will be connected by 300 kilometres of pathways for walkers, cyclists and horse riders, which will run alongside the Llobregat, Anoia and Cardener rivers. The project by the Diputació de Barcelona regional council is part of the Vies Blaves programme, with a budget of €60 million. The plan aims for the paths to be in operation by 2022.
