Last Catalan part of Mediterranean Corridor in sight
The final stretch of the Mediterranean Corridor in Catalan territory is to be finished. The Adif board has put aside 64 million euros for the 11-kilometre stretch between Castellbisbal and Martorell. The work will be carried out by the Unió Temporal d’Empreses (UTE), which is made up of the Tecsa and Dragados firms, and will take 18 months. Some of the funding for the work will come from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). The stretch will link those already done, linking the south of Catalonia with the French border.
