Espanyol take on Rayo Vallecano at home at 6.30pm this evening looking to halt their slide down the table. After a good start to the season, the Catalan side now sit in 15th place, three places above their opponents who will be desperate to get out of the relegation places. Meanwhile, Girona host Huesca at 8.45pm also looking to avoid the drop zone, having slumped to 17th place, also after a promising start to the season. Huesca sit at the foot of La Liga but arrive with a 4-0 win over Real Valladolid last week behind them.
