Uber and Cabify pull out of Barcelona
Coinciding with the activation of the changes by the Communal Transport Regulator (VTC), approved by the Generalitat, the two biggest car-sharing platforms, Uber and Cabify, have ceased operations here. They argue the requirement that they be booked 15 minutes in advance undermines their business models, intentionally, to drive them out of Catalonia.
