Barcelona opens Catalonia’s first LGBTI centre

Barcelona has opened the first LGBTI cen­tre in Cat­alo­nia. Ac­cord­ing to the city coun­cil, the cen­tre will be man­aged by the Plataforma d’En­ti­tats LGTBI de Catalunya. The plat­form is a fed­er­a­tion of groups that de­fend the rights of les­bian, gay, bi­sex­ual, trans­gen­der and in­ter­sex peo­ple. The cen­tre on car­rer Comte Bor­rell in the Sant An­toni neigh­bour­hood cost €1.7 mil­lion.
