Barcelona get Sevilla, Girona get Real Madrid in cup

Barcelona will face Sevilla in the quar­ter fi­nals of the Copa del Rey after yes­ter­day’s draw by the Span­ish Foot­ball Fed­er­a­tion. The open­ing leg will be at the Sánchez-Pizjuán sta­dium on Jan­u­ary 23, with the re­turn leg a week later on one of the last days of the month at the Camp Nou sta­dium. Mean­while, Girona have been handed a par­tic­u­larly tough draw against Real Madrid. The first leg will be on Jan­u­ary 24 at the San­ti­ago Bernabéu sta­dium, with the re­turn leg in the Mon­tilivi sta­dium the fol­low­ing week.
