Centenary of Rosa Luxembourg’s assasination

Ac­cord­ing to the Linke party, thou­sands of well-wish­ers at­tended the cen­te­nary memo­r­ial ser­vice, for Rosa Lux­em­burg and Karl Liebknecht, as­sas­si­nated in 1919 by ultra right-wing ex­trem­ists. A march of “homage” set off from Friedrichshain, “in favour of sol­i­dar­ity and peace; against ex­ploita­tion, and the sup­pres­sion of fun­da­men­tal rights by a ris­ing tide of fas­cist threats”.
