Saudi Arabia moves to ban “secret divorce”

Saudi Arabia, yesterday, took a step forward socially, with a reform in favour of women’s rights, under the stewardship of Mohammed bin Salman, which will eliminate the possibility that a woman could be divorced by her husband without knowing. Previously, this could leave women without rights to pensions, or other benefits obtained through marraige only, without their being aware.
