Water for 2019 - Catalonia’s dams at record highs

Last year we ended the year at 45% of maximum capacity in the reservoirs of Catalonia. The hydrological picture is very different this year. 2018 has been a prolific year for precipitation - reserves have doubled to 90%, according to the Catalan Water Agency (ACA), virtually guaranteeing the water required for 2019. Record snow in April, rain in June, October and November were largely the cause.
