Prices fall slightly in November with CPI at 1.9%

The consumer price index (CPI) in Catalonia stood at 1.9% in November, some five decimal points lower than in October and the lowest registered since April, according to Spain’s national statistics institute (INE) yesterday. The fall is attributed to the price of transport dropping by 1.4%, as well as cheaper fuel prices, which went down 0.7% in October, even though in annual terms they went up 3.5% and 6.4%, respectively. Leisure and culture was 0.6% cheaper than in November 2017.
