Spain breaks promise to driving instructors

Despite the five month long strike by driving examiners from the General Directorate of Transit (DGT) last year, the government has failed to fulfil its promised pay rise - the agreed terms which brought the strike to a close. DGT members have duly returned to the streets, protesting the broken promise, and effectively freezing any new driving licenses until at least December 21st of this year.
