Ex-US president George Bush senior dies at 94

For­mer US pres­i­dent George Bush se­nior has died aged 94. Bush was pres­i­dent be­tween 1989 and 1993, over­see­ing the first Iraq war against Sad­dam Hus­sein. The for­mer US pres­i­dent died on Fri­day at his home in Hous­ton, Texas, ac­cord­ing to a spokesman for his fam­ily. He had been in poor health for some time and was under treat­ment for Parkin­son’s dis­ease.
