Celebrating Catalonia’s sporting talent

In a country that is home to one of the best football clubs in the world, there is still room for excellence in other sports, even if they might not be as popular among the general public. In fact, Catalan athletes have made world headlines in less common sports, such as trail running, trial or kayaking, to name just a few. Our main feature this month focuses on who’s who among Catalonia’s sporting elite, from Kílian Jornet, one of the world’s best ultradistance and mountain runners, to top female athletes, such as trail runner Núria Picas, trial and Dakar champion Laia Sanz, or Olympic swimmer Mireia Belmonte. Also, as every year, we mark the start of spring with a look at the latest fashion trends hitting the runways this season. We also update you on the latest advances in technology, and break down the Black Music Festival in Girona. As usual, something for everyone. Enjoy and stay tuned!
