Out with the old, in with the new

In this issue we look back at the year that is about to end. Without doubt, 2017 has been an intense, unpredictable and turbulent year, and a crucial one in the country’s history. Our main feature offers a month-by-month pick of the most memorable events this year in politics, culture, business, society and sport, both locally and internationally.

Saying farewell to one year means welcoming a new one, and next month we’ll have a surprise for you. In January, we’ll show off a new design for the magazine, with new sections and more content. As we work to improve, we’ll keep you informed of what you can look forward to.

Meanwhile, the holiday season is almost here. While Christmas values often get lost amid all the consumerism, it is good to take a moment to remember that among what makes the holiday important are loved ones and traditions. Both are key ingredients of a traditional Christmas dinner, and we have a comparison of the Christmas Day experience in Catalonia and in the UK. Why not let us know how you celebrate Christmas!

For now, we wish all our readers the very best Christmas, and we’ll see you in the New Year. Enjoy your holidays!
