Control
Founded in 1977, Joy division, who became famous for their dark, melancholic music, is considered the first post-punk band. Anton Corbjin paid his tribute, directing Sam Riley in Control (2007), based on the life of lead singer Ian Curtis, who committed suicide in 1980.
