Daniel Ortega assured of repeating victory

The president of Nicaragua, Sandinista leader Daniel Ortega, has virtually assured his reelection in yesterday's elections in the country, after his main opponents had been excluded from participating in the elections by the courts. With this victory, it will be the fourth term for Ortega and his third consecutive term in office. His running-mate for vice president this time is his wife, Rosario Murillo.
