Culture and content to start the new season

It has become a tradition every autumn for us to introduce our readers to the crop of the upcoming cultural agenda in Catalonia. This season looks to be more promising than ever: Temporada Alta celebrates its 25th anniversary with such names as Krystian Lupa, Peter Brook, Thomas Ostermeier and Oskaras Korsunovas, there is a full review of the exhibitions on in Barcelona and around the country, the pick of the latest in TV series, the most anticipated cinema hits as well as the agenda for the performing arts and concerts. In short, something for everyone (see pages 22-37).

This issue also introduces a new section for youngsters. In collaboration with Barça Kids magazine, every month we will have a biography of a historical figure that you can read and listen to. We start with Pau Casals, one of Catalonia's most important musicians.

We also proudly announce that you can now listen to our contributors reading their columns aloud. And we invite you to sign up to our podcast, CATchat, where we discuss Catalan issues and the magazine. You can find all our audio on Soundcloud. We look forward to all your feedback on Facebook and Twitter!
