Disco in the gardens of Lloret
With a lineup dominated by some of the most popular Catalan performers, the Som de Mar festival in Lloret offers a different way to enjoy the Santa Clotilde Gardens. This year’s edition, from August 19 to 27, boasts the likes of Els Manel (pictured), Ramon Mirabet, Blaumut, Sergio Dalma, Joan Dausà and Els Pets, on an agenda that also includes Coque Malla (without his band Los Ronaldos), Rosario Flores and Boney M, the unquestionable heirs to the age of disco music, and with Liz Mitchell back on the mic.
