Senior citizens demonstrate for dignified pensions

Senior citizens protested in cities, such as Barcelona, Tortosa and Lleida yesterday. In the capital of Segrià, some 80 people called for dignified pensions of at least €1,080, which is “the minimum we think everyone should get,” in the words of spokesman, Joan Miquel Ballesté, who pointed out that “most women get €600 at the most.”
