Wine cellar. ANNA VICENS
Wine route through la Terra del Cava
In the morning:
The Vendrell family's history in wine dates back to the 16th century, but it was not until the 19th century that they moved to the Goma Mas property and worked for the writer and bishop Josep Torras i Bages, who was born in the existing farmhouse. In 1918, the family bought the entire Vendrell estate. The winery is an example of tradition with a modern touch reflecting the warmth of the sun and the richness of the soil, and the colours of the hills and a sustainable approach is essential for healthier products, developed from organic cultivation. Even the names of the wine are a tribute to this:
Original V Brut Nature Gran Reserva: 52% Xarel·lo 30% Macabeo and 18% Parellada. Ideal for elaborate gourmet meals, from baked fish or rice to casseroles with poultry, rabbit or pork.
Original V Brut Reserva: 45% Xarel·lo 30% Macabeo and 25% Parellada. Its fruity nose is reminiscent of apples but with a floral touch.
Organic V Brut Reserva: 50% Xarel·lo 30% Macabeo and 20% Parellada. Pale yellow with a golden sparkle. Fine and persistent bubbles. Ideal for appetisers and desserts.
Organic V Brut Nature Gran Reserva: 50% Xarel·lo 30% Macabeo and 20% Parellada. Of note is its creamy mineral texture, typical of Goma Mas.
Brut Reserva Natural: 100% Xarel.lo and with no added sulphites. Great on its own or with all types of appetisers, cheeses, cockles, clams or oysters and seafood, pà tomaquet with embotit sausage, pâté or foie gras.

For lunch
The Can Bell restaurant is a mainstay in the area and well-known for its home-cooked cuisine, from tapas, snacks and salads, as well as speciality meats and grilled fish. The daily menu offers well prepared food and excellent quality, all at a good price in a family atmosphere. There are also special set meal menus for groups and businesses.
Comfortable, spacious and friendly, this is a down-to-earth restaurant with few pretensions, but it is quite often packed, making booking a must. Highly recommended to visit with family or friends, both on weekdays and on weekends.
