Former minister Pérez-Llorca died yesterday

José Pedro Pérez-Llorca, ex-minister of UCD and one of the seven who shaped Spain’s constitution, died yesterday in Madrid at the age of 78. MP and minister with Suárez and Calvo-Sotelo, he was a “constructive man”, who also had “a huge role in the negotiations of the Statute of Autonomy of Catalonia” according to another of the seven who helped shape the constitution, Miquel Roca.
