Ex-PM of Scotland charged with attempted rape

The former Prime Minister of Scotland was arrested and taken to appear in court yesterday, where he was charged with 14 sexual offences, including two for rape. The ex-leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) was released on bail after the court appearance, and speaking outside the court insisted he was “absolutely innocent of any criminal act”.
