IMF says global growth decline has increased

The IMF yesterday cut its forecast for global growth to 3.5% in 2019 and 3.6% in 2020, respectively a twentieth and a tenth less than the estimate given in October. According to the Global Economic Outlook report, presented yesterday by IMF manager Christine Lagarde “global expansion has weakened”. The organization highlights euro zone slowdown and the impact of trade wars.
