R4 rail line back in operation after Vacarisses crash

The stretch of rail­way on the Renfe R4 line be­tween Man­resa and Ter­rassa re­turned to nor­mal op­er­a­tion this week­end, a month after a land­slide de­railed a train near Vacarisses. The ac­ci­dent caused the death of one pas­sen­ger, with an­other 50 in­jured, five of them se­ri­ously. The elec­tri­cal sys­tem that was dam­aged has also been re­paired and is func­tion­ing nor­mally.
