Police arrest terrorist suspect in Mataró

Police arrested a suspected terrorist in Mataró on Friday, who is believed to have fought for Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria. The suspect, a 33-year-old man from Morocco, left his native country in 2014 to join ISIS. It is alleged his extreme radicalism and knowledge of weapons he acquired in training camps made him a “genuine threat capable of carrying out terrorist acts.”
